FKA Twigs Drops Glitch Heavy Single "Drums of Death" Following High Demand

FKA Twigs has released the third single from her forthcoming LP Eusexua, "Drums of Death". The glitch-pop track was teased in full at the beginning of her meticulously choreographed "Eusexua" music video released in October. Since then the British artist's fans have flooded her social channels pleading for the song's release.

The infectious Koreless production is centered on spacious 808 kicks, claps, and chopped-up vocalizations. In a sultry tone, Twigs whispers "Listen up, girl. Drop your skirt to the floor. Tear your clothes, body torn" as the bridge rises to the melodic hook: Hello, it's your life, do you want to meet later? Relax and ease your mind 'cause you work so much. Hello, it's your life and you're my main character. I'm here any time, you can call me up."

In a much more sensual style, "Drums of Death" continues Twigs' manifesto for erotic liberation that commenced with the lead single, "Eusexua" and was further explored in "Perfect Stranger." To experience the fullness of Twigs' Eusexua universe, the music video remains the primary medium for the multi-hyphenate artist, whose contorting dance moves animate the song with a life of its own.
