Man Utd player ratings vs Leicester: Star scores 9/10 but Ruben Amorim faces urgent issue
Manchester United interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy ended his final game in charge on a winning note after a convincing 3-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday. The Dutchman will hand the keys to Old Trafford over to Ruben Amorim on Monday having overseen a four-game unbeaten run.
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring with a sumptuous 25-yard strike on his milestone appearance for the club. The Portuguese was then involved in extending their advantage when his header ricocheted off Rasmus Kristensen for an own goal.
The second half was somewhat more subdued, owing partly to the adverse weather conditions, before substitute Alejandro Garnacho fired a brilliant third late on to seal the points for United.

Presented with a difficult duel against Abdul Fatawu, the full-back dealt with most of the tasks presented to him. Substituted by Van Nistelrooy before the hour mark, which appeared to be tactical rather than related to injury.
Caught out a few times by runs in behind early on. United are still yet to see a commanding defensive display from De Ligt since his big-money move, although a rare clean sheet will boost his confidence.
Lisandro Martinez 6
Having started at centre-back, the Argentinian was switched to left-back after Dalot's substitution. A mellow display from the Argentinian where he did nothing out of the ordinary.

Noussair Mazraoui 7
Fortunate to escape a booking as the referee didn't spot his clear foul on Facundo Buonanotte. The Moroccan was a threat going forward and supplied the dangerous delivery that led to the second goal.
Manuel Ugarte 7
A quiet first half in the middle of the park in terms of possession, although the Uruguayan was aggressive in closing down and strong in the tackle. Grew into the game in the second half and looks more comfortable in the side now than a month ago.
Casemiro 7
Made an important sliding challenge on Ayew early on and also displayed his passing range in setting up chances from deep. The Brazilian looks refreshed after a tough time under Erik ten Hag and earned a warm ovation from the crowd.
Amad Diallo 8
Showed real desire with tireless running and an eagerness to get on the ball. His flick to set up Fernandes was deft and delightful and he was unfortunate not to find the net himself. The confidence is flowing for the young Ivorian.

Amad Diallo was one of the players to make a real impression for Man Utd (Image: Getty)A memorable occasion for the Red Devils captain as he made his 250th appearance and he marked it with a stunning effort from 25 yards out. Played a major role in the second and third goals to cap arguably his best performance of the season.
Marcus Rashford 5
While his team-mates looked fired up and keen to impress, the winger cut a subdued figure on the left and didn't even last an hour before being hooked. Where does he fit into Amorim's plans?
Asked to hold up the play as the lone centre forward, nothing quite came off for the Dane and he didn't manage a single shot. He was forced to feed off scraps, though, and his work rate cannot be faulted.

Barely had a touch and the Dutchman still looks a bit lost in this side.
