The singer embraced the first few to reach him, but as more crowded him, he was forced to abandon the stage and security officers pulled fans away from him, with one of them appearing to injure his foot in the process. Fans in the crowd booed as the gig came to an abrupt end.

Laura Slingsby, head of youth operations at Salford Lads Club told Manchester Evening News that they are âdeeply gratefulâ for the donation. âHis support is more than a financial contribution; itâs a powerful endorsement of our mission and a tribute to the clubâs enduring role in the lives of young people and the cultural heart of Salford,â she said.
In September, Morrissey fired his management team after Johnny Marr refuted claims that the guitarist now owns all of the âtrademark rights and intellectual propertyâ of The Smiths, and could tour as a band without Morrissey.
