Fluminense announce signing of Thiago Silva

Fluminense have announced the signing of Thiago Silva.

Çhelsea stated yesterday that the defender was joining Flu and would be granted permission to train with his new club before his official registration on July 1.

Flu stated on social media: "The Beast is back! So happy to be home again after so many years!

"The myth that fans consecrated."

Chelsea had stated hours earlier: "Chelsea have agreed with Thiago that he can join up early with his new teammates after signing a two-year contract with the Brazilian club.

"Thiago will be allowed to train with Fluminense prior to his registration transferring on July 1."
