Delta to restart Tampa-Amsterdam route

Delta has announced plans to resume flights between Tampa International Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol.

The carrier last served the route in 2019, and will offer a daily seasonal service between 26 October, 2024 and 29 March, 2025.

Flights will be operated by a 282-seat A330-300 aircraft, configured with 34 Delta One suites, 21 Premium Select seats, 24 Comfort+ seats and 203 Main Cabin seats.

The service will depart Tampa at 1955, arriving into Amsterdam at 1045 the following day, before returning at 1235 and landing back into Tampa at 1655.

Delta already serves Schiphol from Atlanta, Boston, Detroit, Minneapolis St Paul, New York JFK, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Orlando (seasonal).

The Tampa-Amsterdam service will join existing European flights to / from the Florida airport including BA’s service from Gatwick, and Virgin Atlantic’s flights from Heathrow, which launched in 2022.
