FELIPE MASSA responded to Nelson Piquet Jnr’s f***ing amatuer remark and added he doesn t care what his fellow Brazilian has to say.
Piquet Jnr launched a tirade of words at the Brazilian during the first practice session at the Marrakesh E-Prix.
Piquet Jnr fumed at Massa after he was in his way on the street-circuit before the former Ferarri star pulled into the pits.
But Massa explained he was suffering problems with his Venturi car and could not prevent the situation from happening.
Massa said: I think it s very sad, because I had a problem with the car.
I lost drive in the car so that s why I was stopping and I went straight into the pit.
It s not a great example to be honest, the things that he is doing the things that he is saying, so I don t care what he has to say to be honest.
The only thing I can say is I did not do anything wrong, I just had a technical problem in the car and I was stopping the car and I did not do anything on purpose to anybody.
Immediately after Piquet Jnr was held up by Massa he raged to his Jaguar teammates over the radio.
He said: I hope the FIA saw what Massa did to me in the last corner.
F***ing ridiculous amateur.
Massa s issues continued to cause him problems throughout the Marrakesh E-Prix as he finished 18th only outperforming four drivers who retired from the race.
Meanwhile his rival Piquet Jnr finished 14th in an eventful race.
Jerome D Ambrosio won the race by just 0.143 seconds in a race which also saw two BMW drivers crash to throw away a comfortable one-two lead.
