Richardson, taken in the second round with the No. 40 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, saw a significant bump in playing time with the Heat after one year with the franchise.

After only starting two games as a rookie, Richardson did so in 34 last season. He also went from 21.3 minutes per game to 30.5. As a result, Richardson scored 10.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.

The 6-foot-6, 200-pound Edmond, Okla. native played four seasons in Tennessee and stood out as a senior. In 2014-15, Richardson started all 32 games and led the Vols in nearly every major statistical category: scoring (16.0 PPG), FG pct (46.1), FT pct (79.8), APG (3.6), SPG (2.1) and minutes played (36.3).

That campaign earned him All-SEC First Team and SEC All-Defensive Team honors.
