Erling Haaland is seemingly ready to settle down in England after reportedly splashing out on a six-bedroom Cheshire mansion.
Manchester City striker Haaland has long been linked with Real Madrid. And speculation around his future has only ramped up since City's dramatic fall from grace, which has left them scrambling for a spot in the Champions League places.
Haaland's contract is believed to include a release clause, which has put City fans on edge. But his latest move will instil confidence that he sees his long-term future with the Blues, as The Sun claim he has traded his rented apartment in Manchester city centre for a sprawling new house near the footballer hotspot of Alderley Edge.

Jack Grealish did the same thing once he was settled up north. He and Haaland were neighbours in their apartment block before Grealish splashed £5.6million on a Cheshire house in 2023. Haaland's new pad is said to be only 10 minutes down the road.
City's 24-year-old frontman recently became a father. He and his long-term partner, Isabel Haugseng Johansen, were reportedly spotted viewing houses in October last year.
The young Haaland family laying down roots in the north-west would be superb news for City and manager Pep Guardiola. The Norwegian has won the Premier League Golden Boot in both of his full seasons since signing from Borussia Dortmund, and he is in the mix again this campaign despite City's struggles.
The reigning champions sold Julian Alvarez in the summer, leaving Haaland as the only out-and-out striker in Guardiola's ranks. It remains to be seen whether they bring in competition before the end of the month given the workload placed on Haaland in the Premier League and in cup competitions.
It was reported in November that City were in talks with Haaland's camp over a contract extension worth £500,000 a week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the division.

The deal would also involve tying Haaland's future to the Etihad Stadium until 2029. But whether or not a release clause is included remains a sticking point, with City looking to get rid of it or at least raise it in light of his Premier League exploits.
Haaland has been a revelation since breaking into senior football with Bryne, Molde and RB Salzburg. More goals followed at Borussia Dortmund, City and the Norwegian national team, taking his dizzying career total to 304 in 364 matches.
