Barcelona are tracking Valencia midfielder Pepelu.
AS says Barcelona will use tonight's game against Valencia to take a closer look at Pepelu, 25.
In a match against Levante in December, Xavi was seen in the players' tunnel after the match, where he congratulated Pepelu on the season he's had.
Pepelu moved from Levante last summer and has impressed in his first season at Valencia.
The Spaniard's contract with Valencia runs until the summer of 2028.
