A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of indecently assaulting schoolgirls in Sham Shui Po, police said on Sunday. The force said two secondary pupils filed complaints last Thursday, saying they had been hugged and touched by a man while on their way to school. Inspector Leung Kin-pui said a subsequent investigation led officers to believe that numerous girls had been assaulted. “Police officers have spent days reviewing nearby CCTV footage to conduct analysis and investigation. It is found that the same man was allegedly involved in indecently assaulting at least six other female pupils in school uniforms on the same day,” he said. A suspect was arrested on Saturday, Leung said.
