Here at the Singapore Yacht Show, we try each year to do more than just organise another edition of the region’s principal boat show. We are constantly looking for ways to develop the platform we provide and improve our service to our clients looking to do business and grow their networks in Asia.
We are therefore pleased to announce some important changes and developments to the 2019 event for the benefit – and the enjoyment – of our professional visitors, sponsors and exhibitors
New City-Based Official Hotel Partner
We have received a great deal of feedback from many of our exhibitors over the last few years about wanting to see more of Singapore when spending the best part of a week here during the show. We have taken these comments on board, and are delighted to announce that we have a new downtown SYS 2019 Official Hotel Partner - the Capitol Kempinski Hotel.
This brand new five-star luxury hotel, which was recently opened at Singapore’s iconic Capitol Building and Stamford House, is located in the heart of the city’s cultural district - yet still only a short drive from the Show venue at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The Capitol is a quite beautiful heritage building, with the extraordinary Capitol Theatre next door as the venue for the SYS 2019 Gala Evening & Awards, and will provide our exhibitors with some utterly inspiring bar, restaurant and lounge spaces which are all entirely conducive to networking and relaxing alike.
We have also been able to secure a fantastic package for our clients and visitors. For more information on the preferential room rates and exclusive benefits, please contact the Capitol Kempinski Hotel.
New B2B Content, New Conference Format, New Business Opportunities
The annual Asia Pacific Superyacht Conference will once again be staged at the ONE°15 Marina Club immediately prior to the Yacht Show. The brand new 2019 B2B programme consists of a one-day business conference to be held on Wednesday 10 April, followed by three days of industry workshops in the Captain’s Lounge. Under the new format, delegates can choose which workshops they wish to attend, and can look forward to an interactive and dialogue-driven environment filled with targeted business matchmaking sessions, panel discussions, engaging case-studies, practical workshops, and much more.
This programme has been completely redesigned so as to deliver added value to our exhibitors and trade delegates, supplying more opportunities to network with business partners, encounter new vendors and suppliers, and to collect valuable, forward-looking business insights.
Stay tuned for the full programme which will be released in the next couple of weeks.
