The Yacht Environmental Transparency Index (YETI) software tool has been introduced at METSTRADE 2024. This launch, coinciding with the sixth anniversary of the Water Revolution Foundation, is the culmination of five years of collaboration across the yachting industry.
Developed with input from shipyards, naval architects and research institutes, YETI provides a comprehensive framework for evaluating and improving the environmental performance of yachts.
The Water Revolution Foundation is a non-profit organisation focused on promoting sustainability in the yachting industry. Presented by the foundation’s executive director, Robert van Tol, and technical director, Hanna Dąbrowska, the launch event in the METSTRADE Theatre included a demonstration of the software’s two versions: YETI Lite and YETI Pro.
