Meghan Markle was banned from using a certain word in Suits after the Royal Family stepped in.
The actress, 43, began portraying Rachel Zane in popular US legal drama Suits in 2011, years before she met Prince Harry.
The couple met in 2016 and announced their engagement the following year, just one day before it was confirmed Markle was stepping down from her role in the hit series.
Suits creator Aaron Korsh admitted he was "just as excited in some ways as everybody else" when he discovered Markle was dating a member of the royal family, but that doesn't mean it didn't get in the way of his work.
"I mean, your initial reaction is, like, 'We’re dating a prince!'" he told The Hollywood Reporter. "But the security and all that stuff, we shot in Toronto and the writers room was in L.A., so other people were dealing with that."

Korsh, 58, continued: "I will say, and I think Harry put this in the book [Spare], because I heard people talking about it — [the Royal Family] weighed in on some stuff."
Although the royals didn't get involved in "many things" to do with the show, there were "a few things that [showrunners] wanted to do and couldn’t do".
Korsh confessed: "It was a little irritating."
According to the TV producer, the Royal Family stepped in and prevented Markle's character from saying a certain word.
Korsh explained: "Look, I’ll just say what the line was. My wife’s family, when they have a topic to discuss that might be sensitive, they use the word 'poppycock'.

"Let’s say you wanted to do something that you knew your husband didn’t want to do, but you wanted to at least discuss it, and in just discussing it, you wouldn’t hold him to anything he said, you’d be like, 'It’s poppycock'.
"So, in the episode, Mike and Rachel were going to have a thing, and as a nod to my in-laws, we were going to have her say, 'My family would say poppycock.' And the Royal Family did not want her saying the word."
Korsh believe the royals put a ban on this word over concerns of the clip being cut down to Markle just saying "c**k".
However, they were reportedly satisfied with the word being changed to "bulls**t".
