GB News: Cameron Walker presents with Dawn Neesom
GB News had a further presenter shake up today (December 27) as Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker was promoted to main anchor on Breakfast alongside veteran prestner Dawn Neesom.
His debut didn't go unnoticed by one vewer named Sharon who emailed to compliment him on his efforts. "Love to see Cameron presenting in the studio. He's taken to it like a duck to water, very professional," she wrote.
For his first show, among other reports, he was responsible for interviewing Reform UK leader Nigel Farage alongside so-host Dawn.
The Warwickshire native is a familiar face to viewers on the channel having started as a producer soon after it launched before becoming the channel’s first Royal Reporter in April 2022.
His promotion to main host today is just the latest shake up on the show following the axing of Isabel Webster as Eamonn Holmes co-host on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday shows.
Just a week before Christmas the channel announced Ellie Costello, 31, had been promoted to hosting the programme five days a week leaving Isabel out in the cold.
The 41- year-old, had hosted the GB News Breakfast show with Eamonn, 65, since its launch in 2022. She previously worked for Sky News and the BBC.
On December 18 a GB News spokesperson said: "Ellie Costello will now co-host GBN Breakfast five days a week, presenting alongside Eamonn Holmes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and with Stephen Dixon on Thursday and Friday. Stephen and Anne Diamond will continue to co-present GB News Breakfast at Weekends."
The Breakfast programme isn't the only show which had a huge shake up as presenter Mark Dolan also found himself axed.

The Friday Night Live presenter tweeted the news exclaiming: "STATEMENT. GB News have made the decision to permanently relieve me of my duties at the channel. I will speak publicly about this in due course."
He has since set up a YouTube channel and annouced he will be hosting a brand new show, The Mark Dolan Show, on the platform in the new year.
The "global premiere" of his new endeavour is happening in January 2025. He took to X to explain what people can expect from it.
"MARK DOLAN SHOW UPDATE I’m going to invite LEFTIES on the show. It will be TERRIBLE for ratings, but I want the show to reflect ALL VIEWS. Global premiere in January 2025," he wrote.
