In the upcoming week, EastEnders is set to keep viewers on the edge of their seats as tensions rise for several characters in the Square.
On Tuesday's episode, Lauren struggles with her withdrawal symptoms but turns down Cindy's offer of extra pills. As her condition worsens, an oblivious Peter rushes Lauren to the hospital, worried she might have endangered the baby.
A scan confirms the baby's wellbeing, leaving Cindy shocked when she discovers that Lauren is still using during her pregnancy.
Away from Peter and Ian, a heated argument breaks out between Cindy and Lauren, with Cindy giving Lauren an ultimatum: either confess to Peter or she will spill the beans.
Elsewhere in Walford, Ruby and Martin are devastated to learn that the donor liver for Roman's transplant isn't suitable. However, doctors reveal that Martin is a match and could be Roman's best hope.

To Ruby's astonishment and relief, Martin immediately agrees. Lily becomes upset when she realises that Martin will undergo surgery to save his son, concerned about the potential effects on his other children if anything goes wrong, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Later, during a heartfelt chat with Stacey, Martin voices his fears and, in a poignant moment, tries to kiss her, leaving them both bewildered.
In Wednesday's instalment, Cindy keeps up the pressure on Lauren while Peter shares his concerns about Lauren's mood swings with Ian, sensing something is amiss.

Later, Ian proposes the idea of cheering her up by proposing, indicating his commitment to co-parenting with Lauren this time around.
In another scene, Stacey and Martin are left puzzled by their kiss, leading Stacey to confide in Jean.
In a different part of town, Avani convinces Denise to let her work part-time at the salon. Later, Jack brings news to Denise about a potential sighting of Nish, reported by an anonymous caller.
As Avani and Denise are working at the salon, two masked men storm in, claiming they were sent by Nish.
Following the distressing incident, Ravi comforts his daughter before confronting Denise, only to find her in the midst of a panic attack. After calming Denise down, Ravi probes her about her fear of Nish's return - but will she reveal the truth?
