I'm A Celeb Danny Jones' 'mask slips' as he issues two-word warning to co-star

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! fans are convinced they spotted McFly star Danny Jones’ ‘mask slipping’ in the last episode of the ITV reality show.

The gathered celebrities of the 2024 season have been hit with a huge twist when it comes to the Jungle Junkyard. Facing the prospect of tough living conditions, the gathered celebs looked daunted at the thought of heading into the unknown.

But unbeknownst to them, the Junkyard actually featured luxurious conditions – a double bed, a large sofa, a bathtub with bubbles and a gas cooker. As new campers Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles headed into the Junkyard and took a peek at their surroundings, they were stunned to find a fridge packed to the brim of fruit smoothies and a fruit platter.

For some viewers, however, Danny’s reaction to the prospect of being sent somewhere with potentially worse conditions than the main camp had their hackles raised.

Taking to Facebook, one viewer admitted: “The mask of Danny has slipped a bit for me. He looked worried about potentially going to the Junkyard. He was a bit sheepish.”

Others were fuming, however, pointing out that Danny has been candid about his struggle with anxiety. One replied: “He suffers from anxiety he doesn’t like change and new things it’s horrible. I suffer too – can’t stand change and new surroundings.”

Another said: “I love Danny - he’s my King of the Jungle!” As someone else agreed: “Probably wanted to get rid of Dean for a bit, I don’t blame him.”

Danny caused a stir in the camp when he headed to an eating challenge with Richard – and yelled a stern two-word warning at him. In a teaser trailer for the next Bushtucker Trial, he took a no-nonsense approach.

Forced to drink “camovile tea” – comprised of fermented herring – the vicar threatened to throw up when the concoction hit the back of his throat. But Danny warned Richard: “Don’t stop!” before urging: “Keep going, don’t stop!”
