Winter's here - and it's not the snow that tells us that. It's, of course, the return of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

A fan favourite, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, sees families gather around the TV to watch the unfolding of the drama and the feuds as the camp gets hungrier and hungrier.

A week in, and the arguments seem to be few and far between, despite all the drama surrounding the trials. Whilst Danny Jones and Barry McGuigan took on the first trial, the subsequent trials had all been taken by GK Barry and Dean McCullough, both of who admitted they had multiple fears - with GK Barry becoming an internet sensation for her reaction to brushing her arm against a leaf (in the jungle of all places)!

For years, I've been silently begging the show to start a little earlier - 9pm every evening - leaves me late to bed, but this series, I've spotted an even bigger problem that needs sorting quickly!

As per each series, Ant and Dec open the phone lines and the public helps to choose who will take on the next trial.

However, I'm begging for this to stop. We need change - and we need it now!

Of course, the public should still get a say on who takes part in the different trials. We have already had to mourn the loss of the iconic phrase "call the short number" now voting lines have been axed - and voting is just done via the app - but we need some changes to keep viewers switching on every evening!

Why doesn't the show rule out celebrities from doing a trial if they've done one the day before? This would certainly stop the constant appearances by GK Barry and Dean this week, and give the other campmates some air time too.

Fans of the show will remember some of the most disliked campmates - including politicians Nigel Farage and Matt Hancock - ended up doing loads of the trials, and thus got loads of air time. People wanted to see them suffer - but they just got screen time from it.

Maybe we now need to look at a new voting system that really 'punishes' those who viewers vote for, or bosses put in a new system that will exclude recent campmates who have done Bushtucker trials from the next trial to ensure everyone gets their fair share.

Fan favourites, including Tulisa Contostavlos, Coleen Rooney and Danny Jones, are all missing out on the big trials in favour of the ones we love to see scream and shout the infamous 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' catchphrase.

So come on ITV bosses - make the change - and keep the show going for years to come!

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
