Loose Women: Gloria asks Denise when she's leaving the UK

Gloria Hunniford issued a cheeky dig at her colleague Denise Welch who admitted wanting to leave the UK.

Coleen Nolan fronted Monday's edition of Loose Women and was joined on the panel by colleagues Gloria, Denise and Brenda Edwards.

The ITV presenter, 59, questioned the panellists about the Bank Holiday weather as much of the nation has been hit with torrential rain.

The segment titled "Does the weather affect your mood?" sparked a mixed response as Gloria commented: "I tell you what though... I wouldn't live anywhere else. Simply as that. Because I could live in the sunshine..."

Denise interjected: "I would."

In a savage four-word reply, Gloria remarked: "When are you going?"

The comment was met with gasps from the audience as a speechless Denise chuckled following the swipe.

Brenda remarked: "Wow!"

Viewers took to X as they reacted to their on-air interaction as @aaabbb3 said: "Gloria's on fire today!!#loosewomen."

@cookiejoe9 wrote: "Oh wow, when said Gloria. When is Denise leaving?? #loosewomen."

@betthehockey replied: "Miaow!"

Denise later clarified: "There's lots I love about this country but if I didn't have my grandson now, I think I could leave."

"See now lots of reasons to stay," Gloria remarked. "When you look at the world and other countries, you think, 'This is not bad... the weather is."

Denise added: "Used to be not now."

Host Coleen attempted to navigate onto a more neutral topic as she said: "Anyway, onto to some feel good news please."
