Olivia Rodrigo has removed a song from TikTok after it was used by the Donald Trump campaign.

The ˜good 4 u singer has been a vocal reproductive rights activist, having announced the launch of The Fund 4 Good initiative earlier this year as part of the   ˜Guts world tour.

As she explained back in February, it works to “support all women, girls and people seeking reproductive health freedom” and will “directly support community based non-profits that champion things like girls education, support reproductive rights, and prevent gender-based violence.

Ahead of the election, Rodrigo had endorsed Trump s rival Kamala Harris, based on her stance on reproductive rights.

Following Trump’s victory at the US election, his team posted a video on TikTok with the caption: And suddenly the words ˜I m the President-Elect came out of my mouth… , which was soundtracked by Rodrigo s 2021 track ‘deja vu’ – a nod to his second term in office.

Rodrigo later commented: Ew don t use my sound ever again ty,” although it has since been deleted. The song has also been removed from the video, which appears to have been done at Rodrigo s request as the copyright holder. Team Trump’s video remains up without the sound.

Over the course of her career, Rodrigo has been a staunch supporter of reproductive rights, with the singer saying  she was heartbroken over the Supreme Court s decision to overturn Roe v Wade back in 2022.

Our bodies should never be in the hands of politicians. I hope we can raise our voices to protect our right, to have a safe abortion, which is a right that so many people before us have worked so hard to get.

Since Trump’s win, many pop stars have expressed their concern over his stance on abortion.  Billie Eilish warned fans that the president-elect was someone who hates women at a recent concert in Nashville, Tennessee, and previously said: It s a war on women.”

Elsewhere, both Ariana Grande  and  Selena Gomez have offered their fans comfort following his re-election, with the Wicked star writing: holding the hand of every person who is feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome today.” Gomez also wrote in an Instagram story: My heart is heavy today.
