After dropping off its Year of the Snake collection last week, Stone Island is back to shed new light on its Spring/Summer 2025 hero pieces: two coats made from Mussola Gommata, the label's proprietary textile that laminates cotton muslin with a polyurethane film. In a campaign starring pro basketball player Jalen Green and artist Giggs, the Italian outerwear label is highlighting a hooded jacket and stand-collar coat in the exclusive material.
Green sports the 4100062_MUSSOLA GOMMATA-TC, a hooded jacket with a flat cotton tape contour drawstring supported by a Velcro pad. The silhouette features a patch pocket on the chest with a top flap and hidden snap fastening, as well as angular side pockets with zip closures. The coat has adjustable straps on the cuffs, and the Stone Island badge, as usual, adorns the left sleeve.
Giggs, meanwhile, wears the 4100016_ MUSSOLA GOMMATA-TC, a jacket with a stand collar that features double hand pockets with a top flap entrance and snap fastening. There's also a second pocket with a standing entrance, and the Stone Island emblem appears in its usual spot.
Both pieces are water and wind-resistant, thanks to their proprietary build. Notably, the label's double garment-dyeing process gives each silhouette a "particular depth of color," per the brand.
Stone Island's latest Mussola Gommata jackets are now available to shop on the brand's webstore. Take a look at the designs in the gallery above.
