You can always count on Crenshaw Skate Club to remain loyal and ride hard for its hometown Los Angeles Chargers. For a few football seasons now, the Tobey McIntosh-helmed skate imprint has teamed up with the NFL team on dual-minded apparel deliveries and this season is no switch-up.
The seasoned off-the-field duo has unveiled its first Chargers collaboration of the season, arriving in commemoration of the team's recently revealed navy alternate uniforms. Coated in hues of navy and yellow, the capsule spans a hoodie, a t-shirt and a skate deck, with additional capsules slated to land as the season progresses. A press release indicates that this launch is the first of a coming-in-December "expanded collaborative capsule" with the NFL team.
"Merging the cultures of skateboarding and football, which might seem worlds apart, creates something truly unique and powerful," McIntosh explained in a statement.
"Partnering with my favorite NFL team is a dream realized. As a kid, I admired the Chargers’ grit and resilience, which are qualities that still inspire me today. CSC, born in South Central, shares those values, and this collection is a testament to the strength and determination that define both the Chargers and our community."
