Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin demanded major character be 'removed' from film
Macaulay Culkin was in support of removing Donald Trump from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
The president-elect briefly appears in the second instalment of the iconic Christmas film, where he bumps into main character Kevin McCallister in the Plaza Hotel.
However, the actor, who was just 10 years old when he starred as Kevin in Home Alone, once backed calls to remove the scene featuring Trump from the film.
Back in 2021, Trump, 78, addressed protestors attacking Washington DC, sending a video to supporters saying "I love you" and calling them patriots.

One fan wrote: "Petition to digitally replace Trump in Home Alone 2 with 40-year-old Macaulay Culkin." To which Culkin replied saying: "Sold".
He also tweeted "bravo" in response to a fan who had posted a video with Trump digitally removed from the scene.
Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. responded at the time, branding the edit "pathetic" before implying that it was politically motivated.
Trump also responded to the post, writing on X: "I guess Justin [Trudeau] doesn't much like my making him pay up on NATO or Trade!"
He followed this up with: "The movie will never be the same! (just kidding)."

34 years after the first film was released, Culkin is now the proud dad of two children he shares with former Disney Channel star Brenda Song.
In a recent interview, the couple revealed how they go all out for Christmas for the sake of their two sons: Dakota, 3, and a two-year-old whose name has not yet been revealed.
"Because right now, they're at the magic age where they believe, and we want to nurture that belief," he said.
Culkin added: "I told them that I'm at Santa's workshop fixing toys, because that's what I do for them at home," he said. "I'm so good that Santa Claus called me up to the North Pole. They're totally fine with that."
