Strictly Come Dancing finalist Tasha Ghouri has teased which professional dancer will be the next judge on the BBC show.

The former Love Island star, 26, soared her way through to the grand final with her professional dance partner Aljaz Skorjanec. But the dynamic duo has some tough competition to fight off in order to lift the glitterball trophy this weekend.

Joining them in the final is comedian Chris McCausland and his dance partner Dianne Buswell, JLS frontman JB Gill and his partner Lauren Oakley, and Miranda star Sarah Hadland and her partner Vito Coppola.

On Thursday (December 12), the reality star took to her Instagram Live with the Slovenian dancer – who returned to the show this year after a two-year break – after wrapping up their final rehearsal of the series.

As the duo took a well-deserved break, they answered a series of questions from fans who have supported them throughout the show.

During the Q&A, one doting fan told the pair: “I want Aljaz to be the next judge on Strictly” much to Tasha’s excitement. She agreed: “I said this. I know that in five to ten years, you’re going to be a judge on Strictly.

"I’m going to say it right now, because you’d be such a good judge, you really would be.” It comes after Strictly’s Amy Dowden hinted that she could be returning to the famous ballroom this weekend for the live final.

On Wednesday (December 11), the Welsh beauty, 34, took to Instagram to share a cheeky snap of herself rehearsing in the BBC ser in a matching black co-ord.

She captioned the post: “Back dancing in this magical ballroom”, sending her 713,000 followers wild online. The performer returned to the show this year after sitting out in 2023 while she was treated for breast cancer.

Amy was partnered with musician JB Gill for, but she was forced to drop out of the competition just weeks into the new series after she suffered an “insufficiency stress fracture” on her shin.

Following her untimely departure, she expressed her hope to return to the dancefloor to Lucy Owen on BBC Radio Wales. She told the broadcaster: “The doctor is saying I could be back dancing by the end of November so that’s what is keeping me going.

"I am focusing on that, focusing on getting back on the dancefloor with Carlos and coming to Wales for our tour in Cardiff.” Despite her injury, Amy is set to tour with fellow Strictly professional Carlos Gu on their Reborn UK tour from March next year.

The Strictly Come Dancing final is set to air on Saturday (December 14) from 6pm on BBC One or catch up on BBC iPlayer.
