McFly's Tom Fletcher shares career regret as Danny Jones wins I'm A Celeb
McFlys Tom Fletcher has praised bandmate Danny Jones following his triumphant Im A Celeb victory, albeit with a mild jest that he's the only one "letting the side down."
Gracing The One Show couch beside Kerry Washington and Tyler Perry, Tom chatted with hosts Roman Kemp and Lauren Laverne about his latest book when talk quickly turned to Danny's recent crowning as King of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
In last week's climactic finale, Danny was showered with glory, seizing the title. Amidst the win discussion, Tom nodded to other McFly members' reality TV successes, remarking, "Well, we have two in the band; Dougie was King of the Jungle as well, and Harry was the king of the dance floor."
Tom humorously added a bit about his own career regret: "I'm the only one letting the side down."
As Lauren brought up Tom's wife Giovanna's Im A Celeb win in 2020, he confessed: "And my wife won as well, yes. I'm literally the only one who hasn't won a reality show. Thanks for reminding me," reports Wales Online.
