Star of new Disney+ series teases hidden character after 'scene stealing' moment
Star Wars fans are on the look out for a hidden character in the franchise's latest spin-off series.
The first two instalments of the fresh live-action series Skeleton Crew have dropped on Disney+, and the reception has been overwhelmingly positive. The show, featuring the talents of the Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead actor Nick Frost, has garnered particular acclaim.
In Skeleton Crew, Frost lends his voice to the droid SM-33, encountered by a band of marooned youngsters aboard a derelict spacecraft.
This mechanical character quickly becomes an integral part of their unforeseen journey as they attempt to navigate their way back home.
Frost's portrayal has been hailed as 'scene stealing', sparking excitement among fans who are eager for more in the upcoming six episodes.

Additionally, some astute viewers have noted a clever nod in the naming of his character.
SM-33 is programmed with a steadfast loyalty to his captain and speaks in the manner of a classic pirate. Fans have picked up on the fact that SM-33 is a play on Smee, the name of Captain Hook's right-hand man in the Peter Pan story, reports Wales Online.
One enthusiast exclaimed: "SM-33 the coolest guy ever? My guy can throw hands," while another voiced their approval online: "Nick Frost is awesome 'SM-33' I see what you did there."
Another fan expressed their appreciation for the show's exploration of pirate lore within the Galaxy, stating: "I like the focus on the Galaxy's pirate culture. Nick Frost's SM-33 is the scene-stealer so far, and there's an intriguing central mystery."
Jon Favreau, the creative force behind The Mandalorian, has also been instrumental in the production of Skeleton Crew. He tantalisingly hinted that actor Nick Frost might feature in multiple roles on the show.

During an interview with Shortlist, when quizzed about the possibility of making cameos in other Star Wars series concurrent with Skeleton Crew, he enthusiastically responded: "Yeah, absolutely, of course I would. He's a really fun character to be. Even SM-34, and 35, I can voice those too."
Frost added with excitement, "I'd like to be there in person. I'd even wear a helmet, and could do my own weird voice acting. I'd like to see more of him."
