DSAL supporting job seekers 45 and over

The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) has prioritized the re-employment of job seekers aged 45 and above by providing personalized employment support and dedicated services. From January to October, the bureau assisted 1,878 older job seekers, representing 15% of successful placements. In response to lawmaker Leong Sun Iok’s inquiry, DSAL confirmed its commitment to offering diverse vocational training courses. By September, over 2,500 participants aged 45 and older had engaged in these courses, accounting for approximately 32% of total attendees, further promoting a friendly workplace for those 45 and over through various initiatives.
