Update: Nike has revealed official images of its Kobe Bryant-inspired Air Force 1 Low "Home" after the style leaked earlier this year. The main new details to be shown in the official images are the heel tabs, one of which features Kobe's #8, the other of which equips his Kill Bill-inspired sheath logo. In the design notes on SNKRS, Nike notes that this Air Force 1 was inspired by Kobe's "sneaker free agency" during the 2002-2003 NBA season, where he tested out a variety of shoes from several different brands, including a PE-style Air Force 1 High that's very similar to this one save for the cut of its collar. However, one revisionist detail that may peeve Kobe purists is that the sheath logo wasn't introduced until 2005, when Kobe and Nike debuted the Kobe 1.
Expect the Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force Low "Home" to release via Nike SNKRS on December 6, 2024. It'll be priced at $130 USD.

Original Story: Sneakerheads have been treated to a wide variety of Kobe Bryant-themed releases from Nike since his Nike Basketball line officially returned last year. The Nike Kobe 9 Elite Protro just made its return as this year's "Halo" release and is expected to drop in many more colorways, including a return of the "What The" iteration from 2015. Now, just before the release of all five Kobe 8 Protro "Team Bank" colorways, a first look at a new Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Force 1 Low has popped up.
It's been over a week since Vanessa Bryant took to Instagram to tease a white, purple and gold rendition of the Air Force 1 Low covered in the Nike Kobe logo. A first look at another pair, one that is confirmed to be dropping this year, has since hit the net. Our initial preview of this colorway sees it also sport the aforementioned color composition of white, purple and gold. White serves as the base color as yellow accents the kicks at the Swooshes, tongue tag, heel tab and outsole. Purple enters the mix at the tongue branding and also outlines the Swooshes while the lateral heel sports the Nike Kobo logo as an embossed detail in white.
At the time of writing, neither Nike nor the Nike Basketball team have shared any info surrounding their Kobe Bryant-themed Air Force 1 Lows. Stay tuned for updates, including official imagery of the kicks, as they are currently expected to drop by the end of the year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $145 USD.
