Kendrick Lamar Ties Billboard Hot Rap Chart Record With "Not Like Us"

Kendrick Lamar is celebrating another chart milestone set by "Not Like Us."

Genius reports that the Drake-aimed diss track has tied the Billboard Hot Rap Chart record for the longest-running No. 1 track, going neck and neck with Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' "Old Town Road." Both chart-toppers are currently tied at 20 weeks, and if Dot is able to keep his song's momentum up, he will officially set yet another chart record.

"Not Like Us" previously became the fastest hip-hop song to hit 300 million Spotify streams and, upon the time of its release, also broke Drizzy's Spotify record for the biggest single day streams of a hip-hop song. Developer Richie Branson also transformed the diss track to an in-browser game and took inspiration from the music video's scene of Dot hitting an owl piñata.
