Mikel Arteta has shared that Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu are both 'doubts' for Arsenal's trip to Man Utd on Sunday afternoon. The Gunners head to Old Trafford knowing that only a win will do if they want to land their first Premier League title since 2003-04.

Arsenal find themselves one point clear of Man City at the top of the table with just two games left, but Pep Guardiola's side have a match in hand and are the masters in keeping their cool under the pressure amid a title race.

Therefore, Arsenal need to just keep doing the business their end against Ten Hag's side before hosting Everton on the final day of the Premier League season. The Gunners take on their old foes with huge confidence following their fantastic run of form in 2024, but they know regardless of Utd's recent slump, a tough test awaits them at a ground that hasn't been a happy hunting place.

And ahead of the weekend's stand-out fixture, Arteta issued some concerns when sharing the news that Saka and Tomiyasu are both not guaranteed to feature at Old Trafford.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference, the Spaniard told reporters: "A few doubts that tomorrow we can resolve with another training session so we’ll have to see. A few doubts over Tomi and Saka yes."

Arsenal fans will be praying Saka wins his fitness race as he has once again been vital to his side's brilliant season, while Tomiyasu continues to prove his worth defensively on the left. Some may be sceptical about Arteta's update however, with the Gunners manager known to be coy about squad concerns ahead of big fixtures.

Meanwhile, ahead of this weekend's Premier League fixtures, Arteta will be praying former Arsenal players Bernd Leno, Alex Iwobi and Willian can spring a surprise on title rivals City when they face Fulham away on Saturday afternoon.

It perhaps represents City's toughest test remaining, before they take on Arsenal's London rivals Tottenham and West Ham in their final matches - two sides very low in confidence following recent results.
