ITV This Morning's Josie Gibson sparks concern as host is replaced mid-show

TM: Bryony visits Universal Studios to become stunt performer

As Friday's instalment of This Morning aired on Friday, viewers were left concerned after realising regular host Josie Gibson had been replaced.

Josie, 39, is usually on hand to host the show with Craig Doyle during school holidays and often presents location segments when she isn't in the studio.

However, in a segment which was aired during the programme, Josie was noticably absent as she was replaced by make-up artist Bryony Blake, who was sent to Universal Studios in Los Angeles to become a stuntwoman.

The internet personality was seen throwing punches with stunt doubles, being chased in car sequences and jumping off buildings.

However, viewers were confused as to why Josie wasn't doing the segment and flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their opinions.

One social media user wrote: "Who is this and what have they done with josie? #thismorning."

Another ITV viewer asked: "Wasn't Josie available for this segment? #ThisMorning."

Somebody else expressed: "Daily reminder that they're quietly giving Josie segments to other people now. Recently it's clearly been Siân Welby doing things that would've previously gone straight to her #thismorning."

A fifth penned: "Why is Bryony the make-up woman doing stunt driving?? #thismorning."

While a sixth added: "Second time they've flown this make-up no-one to the US for a promo #thismorning."
