Taxi driver dies in Tai Po crash

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tai Po on Saturday afternoon in which a 76-year-old taxi driver died. The force said he had been turning onto On Cheung Road from a car park on Tai Yuen Estate, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into stationary light goods vehicle. He was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in an unconscious state, where he was certified dead about an hour later.
