Jeremy Clarkson's girlfriend emotional over 'heartbreaking' Diddly Squat Farm deaths

Lisa Hogan, girlfriend of Jeremy Clarkson and co-star of Clarkson's Farm, has spoken out about the heart-wrenching animal deaths at Diddly Squat Farm during the filming of the show's third series.

The latest instalment of the Prime Video sensation sees Jeremy and Lisa venture into pig breeding, leading to some emotionally charged scenes. Lisa found herself unexpectedly attached to the pigs, making their loss all the more difficult to bear.

"I didn't think I'd be that enamoured by pigs but I did get really close to them," she confessed. "Farming's just sad. The animals become your friends and you're isolated. It was heart-breaking."

Jeremy revealed that he enlisted Lisa's help in delivering piglets in the new series. "It turns out that pigs aren't great mothers as a general rule, but the sandy and black breed that we got makes for a particularly poor mother," he explained.

Meanwhile, on other parts of the Diddly Squat estate, Jeremy finds himself at odds with farm manager Kaleb in the third series as they dabble in construction. "I struggle to argue with him about farming because he just knows more than I do," admitted Jeremy, reports OK!.

"But when we do things like trying to repair the dam, that's construction, and neither of us really know what we're doing. So that was one of our big arguments."

Kaleb, 25, has admitted to having a significant clash with Jeremy in the latest series.

He confessed: "In this series, we have probably our biggest ever argument."

However, he quickly added: "But don't get me wrong, I love the man. I think when you're good friends with someone, and you have that amazing chemistry, it makes everything easier."

Kaleb emphasised the resilience of their friendship, saying, "Yes, we can argue, and yes, we can shout at each other, but at the same time, we're friends.

He concluded with a note on their ability to move past conflicts: "Two minutes after an argument, we can just agree to disagree and go for a cup of tea or go to the pub and have a pint."
