Man City join interest in Celta Vigo attacker Gabri Veiga

Manchester City have joined the interest in Celta Vigo attacker Gabri Veiga.

The Daily Mail says City are monitoring Veiga as they look to bolster their midfield options this summer.

The 20-year-old is being watched by a host of European giants after an impressive season in La Liga and City are keeping an eye on his development.

Veiga is said to have a £35million release clause in his contract, which has alerted the attention of the likes of Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola wants reinforcements in central areas ahead of next season, with the futures of Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva up in the air.

Gundogan, the club captain, has firm interest from Barcelona and his deal at the Etihad Stadium expires this year.
