Whether you’re a biryani lover or an idli fan, or you prefer a cutting chai over a creamy doughnut, all your cravings can be satisfied here. Mumbai is all geared up to welcome This Crazy Food Festival, a two-day celebration of food, drink and entertainment by The À La Carte Company. With over 50 stalls vying for your attention, you’re bound to wonder where to start. We give you five stalls that you must visit:

Visit Sambar Pub

Start off your meal with Gun Powder Fries and Andhra Fish Fingers from Mumbai’s first south Indian bar and pub. Most of their ingredients are sourced directly from the southern parts of India, bringing the distinct flavours of the southern coastline at your doorstep. Their Goji Bajje, deep fried maida balls from Mangalore, are a must try.

Stop by at Authenticook

Authenticook is a social dining platform enabling locals and travellers to experience Indian meals whereby hosts invite diners to their homes for an authentic home-cooked meal experience. Firdosh, a local Mumbai host, will be serving Parsi delicacies like dhansak and salli murgh, while Shaista and Sarah from Delhi plate out dora kebabs and mutton nihari with taftaan from Dilli Ka Dastarkhwan.

Eat at Yogisattva

Sample the food at Norwegian Sea Food Council

The Norwegian Sea Food Council brings a tasting sessions for all the fish lovers. The Norwegian Salmon, known for its healthy protein and taste, will be served along with market insights from the aquaculture industries. Dig in to the tastiest salmon dishes from the sustainable producers of seafood.

Wind up with Mini Pancakes and More

End your meal with ‘Poffertjes’, small fluffy pancakes made of traditional Dutch batter of yeast and buckwheat flour. The cute mini pancakes are garnished with Belgian chocolate and M&Ms,  and come with a cute flag that bears a small message. The pancakes are bite-sized, and will leave you craving for more.

The festival will take place at Mahalaxmi Race Course on December 9 and 10, 1pm to 11pm
