Another member of the Ole Miss football program has decided to transfer, this time in defensive back Breon Dixon.
Dixon, a freshman from Loganville, Ga. and former Under Armour All-American at Grayson HS, announced his decision on Twitter on Thursday. He appeared in six games for the Rebels this season, recording five total tackles and one quarterback hurry. Out of high school, he was ranked the No. 8 outside linebacker by ESPN in the 2017 class and rated as a 4-star.
Due to the NCAA sanctions that have come down on Ole Miss, the program is allowing a full release to any player that is wanting to transfer.
Dixon joins fellow defensive back Jalen Julius as Rebels that have decided to leave Oxford. A big group of players could possibly leave the program, including quarterback Shea Patterson.
