The baseball world was stunned in November by the news of the sudden death of two-time Cy Young Award winner Roy Halladay, who was killed in a private plane crash.
For former LSU and current Baltimore Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman, the news was especially hard as he had looked up to Halladay while growing up.
To celebrate and honor Halladay, Gausman has decided to take the field wearing No. 34, Halladay’s old number, during the 2018 season.
