With the 2017 NFL Draft less than a week away it seems that the Cleveland Browns still do not know who they are picking. Even though they’ve had months to make the decision.
Per Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Browns coaching staff very much wants to select Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett with the No. 1 pick. But the front office reportedly like North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky.
And owner Jimmy Haslam badly wants a quarterback. And Haslam reportedly picked Johnny Manziel back in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft because a homeless man told him to do it.

What intersting about this decision is that the Browns also have the No. 12 pick in the first round and could likely take a quarterback there. Trubisky could still be available at No. 12, as could Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson or Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
In the latest SEC Country mock draft, the Browns are pegged to land Garrett with the No. 1 pick and Watson with the No. 12 pick. The 2017 NFL Draft takes place on April 27 and concludes on April 29.
