Railway recruitment 2017: Group C vacancies announced, apply latest by November 13

Railway recruitment 2017:
The Railways Recruitment Board (RRB), Gorakhpur has announced various vacancies under sports quota (Group C). Candidates who are willing to apply must fill and submit the application form on or before 13-11-20170. However, for remote areas like Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, Jammu and Kashmir etc the last date of submitting the application will be 28-11-2017, according to the notification released by the railways. Under this recruitment drive, 21 posts are available under various departments. Candidates must note that the selection will be based on performance in trial and evaluation of sports and educational achievements.

Railway recruitment 2017- Examination Fees:
Candidates need to pay of Rs. 500 (Rs 250 for SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwD, Women, Minorities and EBC candidates) in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO), drawn in favour of Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, NE Railway, payable at Gorakhpur.
Here is the application form:



Railway recruitment 2017- Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2018.
Railway recruitment 2017- Educational Qualification:
1. For Grade Pay Rs 1900-2000, candidates must have passed 10+2
2. For Grade Pay Rs 2400, candidates must have studied in Science stream i.e Maths or Physics or its equivalent.
3. For Grade Pay Rs 2800, University Degree or its equivalent is required.
Candidates should note that the application form is available in the nearby bookstore. The candidates should send their application in the prescribed format along with recent passport size photograph and relevant certificates. All applicants must also note that the forms can be submitted only through postal services.The envelope should be superscribed as “Sports Quota 2017-187” and to be sent to the Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway, CCM Annexe Building, Railway Road No.14, Gorakhpur (UP)-273012.
