Christie calls Madonna "my queen".

Gwendoline Christie shared her immense Madonna fandom during a recent TV interview.

The Game Of Thrones and Star Wars actress referred to the pop icon as “my queen” during her appearance on US chat show Live With Kelly And Ryan.

Christie also recalled the time she joined Madonna on stage when the singer’s ‘Rebel Heart Tour’ swung into Sydney, where Christie was shooting Top Of The Lake: China Girl.

Christie attended the Madonna concert with her Game Of Thrones co-star Alfie Allen, who apparently had to ask her to “calm down” because the actress became so excited during Madonna’s performance of ‘Borderline’.

Madonna is set to appear on Live With Kelly And Ryan later this week, and shared a clip of Christie talking about her on the show to whet fans’ appetites. Watch below.

Madonna is between album cycles, but recently shared a stripped back cover of Elliott Smith’s ‘Between The Bars’ on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Gwendoline Christie has said she would consider appearing in a Game Of Thrones spin-off. The actress, who plays Brienne of Tarth, has said she sees potential for “so many storylines” showing more sides to her character than fans get to see in the original HBO series.

“I’d always consider [returning] for that particular character,” she said. “Because that character is very dear to me.”
