Harlem's own A$AP Ferg has just teamed up with Uniform for a socially conscious Traplord x Uniform collection that helps kids in need. The rapper is no stranger to doing work for charity as he donated an A$AP Yams mural for a charity art auction back in March. Featuring a logo tee, hoodie, military shirt, camo jacket and bucket hat, the 10-piece limited edition capsule aims to help children in need as Ferg recently visited Liberia and experienced first-hand the impact of Uniform's mission to sell clothing in order to provide school uniforms for local children in need.
Speaking with Vogue, Ferg says,
These uniforms are really how you decipher the kids in Africa. You see a lot of them in the streets because they can't afford a uniform and therefore can't go to school. Providing them with free uniforms not only enables these kids to get an education, but I think it makes them happy and empowered -- I'm a strong believer in dressing the way you want to be.
Take a look at the collection above -- with everything retailing under $200 USD -- and purchase a piece from Bloomingdale's to help provide a school uniform for a kid in need. Full collections for men and women will drop next month on Traplord and Uniform's websites.A$APFergDropsTraplordUniformCollaborationHelpKidsNeed
