RAINS Is Suing Zara for Allegedly Copying Its Raincoat's Core Designs

Danish outerwear brand RAINS has become known for its clean, simple raincoats since it was founded in 2012. Now the brand is suing Zara's parent company, Inditex, for allegedly copying its classic raincoat design and passing it off as its own. The Danish brand are looking for a ruling that would force Zara to stop manufacturing the raincoats immediately, as well as compensation for loss of earnings. In a statement, RAINS cofounder Daniel Brix Hesselager said "Zara has copied some of our core products - classics - items which we have worked relentlessly on to help define our brand. We're talking about products that will not change from season to season. So this copying must stop immediately." The case is due to be heard at the Danish Court of Commerce and, considering the size of Zara, it looks like RAINS is going to be looking for a pretty big pay out from the world's biggest fashion company. Zara has found itself in controversy over its unoriginal designs more than once, with the brand recently being accused of ripping off famous sneaker designs including the Balenciaga Speed Trainer and adidas Originals NMD CS1 PK.Click here to view full gallery at

Twitter has all the answers for Trump's 'orb of doom' photo

"By touching this glowing orb, you hereby swear your eternal allegiance to the international Legion of Doom, got it?"  That's just one of the many theories that began swirling around social media on Sunday when Donald Trump appeared in photos clutching a mysterious, illuminated globe in a darkened room alongside Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Egypt's President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi.  SEE ALSO: Twitter's co-founder is totally sorry for helping Trump get elected Of course, the explanation behind the seemingly odd photo is far less nefarious: The orb is actually an installation at the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to The Washington Post.  Read more...More about Twitter, Donald Trump, Trump, and Watercooler

Someone already made a Wikipedia page for 'Trump orb'

As we all know by now, the internet is quick to any and everything funny, weird, and downright confusing. We admire, and are maybe just a little bit frightened by, this fact.  President Donald Trump paid a visit to Saudi Arabia this weekend, the first stop on his first foreign trip as president. While there, he gave a highly-anticipated speech about Islam, and attended the opening ceremony of the Global Centre for Combating Extremist Ideology in Riyadh with Saudi Arabia's King Salman and Egypt's President Abdel Fatah al-Sissi. This ceremony involved touching a cool glowing orb.  Behold. Donald #Trump and the mysterious glowing orb. - The Washington Post — Gregory Grushko (@ggrushko) May 22, 2017 Read more... The 'Fresh Prince' and 'Friends' references hiding in 'Overwatch'

Every hero in Overwatch just got a brand new set of dance moves to celebrate the game's first birthday. In typical Blizzard fashion, each one is inspired by dances from the real world, movies, random internet videos, and more. Dorkly Articles Editor Tristan Cooper rounded up a bunch of Overwatch heroes' dance animations and paired them with clips of the dance moves that inspired them. Reinhardt doing the waltz with his hammer inspired by Gene Kelly waltzing with a mop from the movie Thousands Cheer may be the best one of them all. Justin Trudeau builds a pillow fort with kid, makes our hearts burst

Oh Justin Trudeau, is there anything you can't make stupidly charming? The Canadian prime minister did the coolest thing with a young contest winner, and we're super jealous about it. Five-year-old Bella from Thompson, Manitoba was the lucky winner of CBC Kids' "Prime Minister for a Day" contest.  As acting prime minister, she got to do whatever she wanted. And what did she do on her special day? Build an awesome pillow fort in Trudeau's office with the prime minister himself. It doesn't look like this is Trudeau's first pillow fort-building rodeo. With Bella's help, he strategically places an office couch cushion on top of two wooden chairs, and drapes a blanket (covered in maple leaves, of course) over the top of the structure for shelter. He takes this task seriously because this is certainly a crucial part of his job.  Read more...More about Watercooler, Fort, Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister, and Pillow

Will the real iPhone 8 please stand up?

If you thought the iPhone 8's final design was actually set in stone, you'd best check yourself, because you're about to get wrecked. We've seen a few sources recently, most notably BGR, report that a dummy model showing many of the features expected in the next-gen version of Apple's flagship is the final designThat device has an edge-to-edge display with no visible bezels, an all glass and stainless steel profile, a vertically-oriented dual lens camera, and, most importantly, no visible Touch ID button. The dummy model would be a fine fulfillment of many of the leaks that have proliferated through the rumor cycle, but there's no way to definitively state it's the final version of the device. Apple was reportedly still testing multiple designs as late as last month, after all — there could be other options still on the table.  Read more...More about Touch, Iphone 8, Leaked Images, and Tech

Charging bear attacks hunter in terrifying encounter caught on video

A Canadian hunter is lucky to be alive after being attacked by a black bear. Richard Wesley was bow hunting near Fire River, Ontario, when he noticed a large black bear roaming nearby. At first, the bear seemed unfazed by Wesley's presence, but when the hunter makes a sound in an attempt to scare off the approaching bear, it charges. Wesley attempts to make as much noise as possible, and even punches the attacking bear in the face. The camera falls and the hunter returns just a few seconds later, visibly shook by the near death experience. "I should have shot a long time ago," Wesley says into the camera just seconds after the attack.  Read more...More about Watercooler, Animals, Bears, and Watercooler
