The Avatar franchise's official Facebook page recently posted an update noting the release dates of the four Avatar movies currently in production. According to the update, 20th Century Fox is preparing to make the films a winter holiday tradition with release dates set for December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024 and December 19, 2025. The news comes after the series' director James Cameron announced that the release of the first of the sequels to 2009's Avatar would be delayed. Continuing on from its recent collaboration with Christopher Lemaire, Uniqlo has partnered with another designer du jour for a much-anticipated collaboration. In this latest video, J.W. Anderson elaborates on his reasoning for joining forces with the Japanese fast fashion giant, citing its attention to detail and the global low-cost platform it provides as features that swayed him. The collection will include both men’s and women’s items, melding British heritage with the fit, fabric and functionality that Uniqlo’s LifeWear sub-label offers. An illegal flying stunt of a group of four drones caused more than 60 flights to get disrupted on Friday — the third such incident in a week.
More than 10,000 passengers were left stranded, as a result.

According to a report by China News Service, Chengdu's Shuangliu International Airport received reports of four drones flying within the protected zone of the airport, with one even passing below an incoming flight.

A 69-year-old patient in the eastern Chinese region of Hangzhou is making the news for using her phone, while undergoing a procedure on her legs.

The patient, surnamed Zhu, was allowed to bring her phone into the operating theatre as her doctor wanted her to be more relaxed while she underwent a varicose vein surgery.
Surgery for varicose veins includes tying and removing them by pulling the veins out from under the skin.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is 15 films deep as of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and in a lot of ways it's starting to showDoctor Strange suffered from feeling too much line an Iron Man retread; Ant-Man demonstrated just how far these movies could (or rather couldn't) stray from that true-and-tested formula; and so on.
But Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 also serves as a reminder of why it is we keep coming back to these movies, even as we know every single time that the heroes will prevail and the world will not end: it's the characters, stupid.

They might be cute little critters, but they sure breed fast.
Hundreds of pet mice were found in an apartment in Singapore, owned by an unnamed man and his elderly mother.

Last Friday, animal welfare volunteers went into the flat, where the mice were found roaming all over the 100 square meter (1,076 sq ft) apartment's floors — and not in enclosures.
Derrick Tan, the president of animal welfare group Voices for Animals, posted this video on Facebook:
